| The Great Carousel Race! |
A special day for our family. A fun day at Florida's newest park LEGOLAND! We entered the park and went up on the Island of the Sky, one of Cypress Gardens oldest original rides. It takes you up, up, up over Lake Eloisem where you can view the area for miles. In the distance you can even see Bok Tower up on the hillside. After that ride we walked to the Pirate show, it is still a ski show with stunts but with lego people. Heading to the Technic area we all rode in a lego roller coaster. We enjoyed the Coaster sauraus, The Dragon, Wave Racers, Boats, mini driving course for Dayna and the Lego 3D show. After that we were in awe of the Mini Cites, Washington DC, New York, Tampa, Las Vegas, plus some familiar Florida sites, Bok Tower, Kennedy Space Center, City of Tampa, They has a mini Pirate area even with a ship that has be shipwrecked. ALL MADE OUT OF LEGOS! amazing. The Safari ride traveled through to see Meercats, lions, zebras, elephant and even Girafftes. Of course you don't have to feed those lego animals. We spent time with friends, The Randalls, Newtons, and others from our homeschool group and made memories. The race on the carousel was the grand finale. Dayna first place, then Maria and Jillian!
