Voice of the Martyrs/Columbia Parachute assembly

Our awesome group assembled 5 parachutes at Biet Yisral Congregation. From old to young, retirees to homeschoolers, they are all working for a common cause — spreading the gospel to Marxist FARC guerrillas in the nation of Colombia.

Universal Studios

We started out our adventure towards Wizarding World of Harry Potter. We were amazed how many people. The new attraction opened last summer and still very busy. We waited to enter Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey many details from the 5 movies we enjoyed through the cue line. We were launched into air with Harry and friends on Hippogriff, soaring in Quidditch game and other adventures. We enjoyed a Great Feast Fish Platter and shared a famous Butterbeer. YuM! It tastes like cream soda with thick whipping cream and vanilla topping! We traveled around the park to the comic lane and lastly Dr. Seuss land. A great outing with family.

Pompeno Beach

Family time at the beach. We stayed at on the Atlantic Ocean at the Residence Inn by Marriott Ft. Lauderdale Pompano Beach/Oceanfront hotel. There we enjoyed the view, many moon jellies and diving. Our trip back we stopped at DaDa's Restaurant in Delray Beach for a land cruise gourmet meal.

Pioneer Settlement For the Creative Arts, Barberville, Florida

Pioneer Program: Step back in time when settlers had to be self-reliant. Students experienced skills needed to survive in Pioneer Florida. Activities Candle Making, Weaving, Spinning, Woodworking, Butter Making and a visit to the Farm.
Our first stop making candles, intro to making wool into yarn to spin, off to the farm, woodworking shop and a taste of yummy homemade butter. Pioneers worked hard, but were very creative in using all materials. I noticed the rag rugs made on the loom were just like my Mom's. We used the shuttle and weave through the warp and weft.
