Feast of Trumpets at Desoto Caverns, Alabama

At the end of September I went to Alabama with my family and friends. We were camping at Desoto Caves which has a little theme park in front of it. There was a human maze, water balloon forts, and toilet racing! My family brought our dog, Zebed, it was his first camping experience. We had 36 people camp with us in all, so there were a lot of kids to play with. Together we played all kinds of games. My Dad and Mom had walkie-talkies that we all shared; taking turns in groups one by one. We played Frisbee, and kickball, we also went biking, and even were allowed to play in the woods if we were careful. Although one person got severely injured, a 14 year old boy by the name of Axel broke his arm after biking down a hill flipping and landing into a tree. You’d think he’d start crying, but all he did was get up look at his arm, saw he was hurt and walked up the hill to get help. He’s ok now, but in Alabama he had two broken bones and when he got home to Florida he only had one broken bone. God healed one bone in two days, even the doctors were amazed. Then on the last day, all of us went to see the cave. It looked a lot like the one in Barbados only bigger. The Cave was about football field long and the ceiling rose 60 ft. above us. With all the pillars of stalactites and stalagmites and the pools of water formed by waterfalls and streams of rain water it look spectacular! by Dayna Beatty

An amazing trip to see God's Caverns. Thanks to Al Mathis, owner of the caves who gave our group a personal tour, with seven families, a feast and a miracle, we are in awe. God saw fit to heal a bone in Axel's left arm after he had a bike accident two days prior on the Feast of Trumpets. Amazing power are God has. Our theme for the trip was the Axel club. Go Alex lifting left arm to encourage Axel to keep his left arm elevated. We camped 3 nights and enjoyed the family fun park. We blew our trumpets and shared a seder dinner with the Blume and Cribb families. We are a blessed people.
