Monarch Butterfly

Thanks to the Umbarger family we had a great summer science project. The miracle of metamorphosis. We had two opportunities to watch a small monarch caterpillar grow to a very large one in just a week. We watch the caterpillar form a "j" shape to prepare for a chrysalis stage that lasts 10 days. We witness the miracle as we saw the chrysalis become clear and then we looked and miracle a monarch butterfly was born. Amazing! God is Awesome.
