May 23-30 I was in Georgia. We had a 8 hour drive to Georgia from Kissimmee. My sister, Jillian, and I were so bored we took plush head rests that my Dad brought and tied hair bands around them so they looked like little people and played with that.
When we finally arrived at our cabin that was in the middle of nowhere, we unloaded our stuff from the car and explored the house. It was awesome, there was a game room, a hot tub, 4 bed rooms and 2 balconies. After that we all went on a long walk through the golf course. The next day we went horseback riding and zip lining through the hilly countryside.
On Wednesday we went white water rafting. My family and I fell off a 7ft white water rapid, I admit it was pretty scary! So after that we ate a nice meal at downtown Helen, Ga an Alpine village and we went home to our cabin and chilled.
Thursday was slow compared to the day before. We all packed up our things and left the little cabin and drove to Atlanta, Georgia to see the World of Coca Cola pavilion. After 3 hours in there, we dove an hour and a haft to another cabin in the Blue Ridge Mts and waited for our friends, The Blume family were going to spend the next 4 days with us. They came at like 12:00 a.m. so Jillian and I did not see them till the next day.
I woke up at 6:03 to find no one awake yet. Finally at 7:40 one of the boys woke up and after that everyone was awake! So we all ate breakfast and packed a lunch/dinner for the trip to the mountains. The boys explored with my sister and I for an hour. Then it was time to drive to the highest point in Georgia. Arriving at the mountain top we had the whole place to ourselves. We ate lunch/dinner and then hiked up to the look out place on the very top of the mountain. There we celebrated Sabbath with dancing and singing and then hiked all the way down to the cars. Getting to the cars we switched kids, so I went back in our friends car and one of there boys went in my car. The whole trip back we sang songs that we new from Christian radio broadcast Z88.3. When we got to our cabin all the boys were put to bed and Jill and I stayed up till 11:00 o”cloak with the parents playing card games.
The next day we all went for a 3 hour tubing down the Toccoa Falls River with SNAKES, a snake went under one of our tubes and scared the parent inside. We enjoyed some yummy Georgia peaches from a Mercers Orchard. There we had free homemade fudge tasting. We left our cabin for Macon, Ga and stayed the night at a hotel. We went for dinner at a Japanese Restaurant where they cooked in front of us. We stopped at the Air Force Museum at Warner Robbins, GA and then at a Peanut museum. We arrived at home. Great Memories.
