November 19, 20 & 21. Jillian was on stage as Motel, the innkeeper and a Russian. She had several lines and a two dance routines. Super Job! Well done on stage Jillian!




Jillian: It was great! I would love to do it again. Most of the practices were crazy, but I still had a blast. I meet great people and never got stage fright, but my dad said I have his "want to be on stage" feeling. I just hope they have a play my parents agree on soon. If you would like to have this experience then find a play that needs actors and go for it. You will have a blast!

Clay Class at The Center

The First thing you do with clay is roll the clay into a long thick roll, then you take the rake and scratch and place water on the score. It is used as its own glue. Once place on the other part of your work then gentle squeeze and form by pressing in. Some tools clay artists use is the ruler, knife, rake and newspaper. We make sure our art is wrapped in newspaper and a plastic bag to keep it most. I making many Hanukkah gifts for my family and for myself. I love Clay!!

Young People's Concert at Bob Carr 2010

Just Imagine! The theme of this year. When we listened to William Tell, Vivaldi, and John Williams works of music art we were encouraged to paint a picture the artist was creating through the sound waves. The Orlando Symphony, with the Orlando Ballet dancing to Disney's Fantasia also a selection from famous Black Jazz Artist Duke Wellington.

Mary Kendall Steffee Nature Preserve & The Osceola County Historical Society

We stopped in and learned about the pioneers of Central Florida. What would the landscape look like a 100 years ago? You would have to pay attention to the foliage in the area like vines called smile lax, saw palmettos, cypress and cinnamon ferns. The beauty berry was used for dyes. We found a bay leaf plant that you could use for stews and rattle beans to feast and listen too. The hike took us into the preserve where we started out with live oaks, water oaks, ferns and cypress trees in the swampy areas. A great day for hike in the middle of the city of Kissimmee.

The classic heroine in red braids turns the town upside down! Dressed in her unique style and living with only her horse and pet monkey, Pippi possesses untold wealth, super strength, and an eccentric outlook on life that aid in her madcap adventures. This high-spirited musical takes us inside the Villa Villekulla and beyond!

A delightful red head that needs some training, but with a generous heart lives alone and befriends the neighborhood children. A zany scene when the robbers try to steal Pippi's gold was one or our favorites. A great time at the Theater. Dayna loved Pippi's house tube curvy slide.
Jillian also love the robber scene.

Sukkot, The Feast of Tabernacles

Sukkot we built our Sukkah and slept and ate under it. We rented a 25 ft Camper and camped with friends at Moss Park. We had to deal with Sand hill cranes, raccoons and love bugs. Sunday their was a family picnic with a Chili cook off. Mommy won second place after the park rangers judged the seven entries. Singing around the campfire with marshmallows was the highlight of Sukkot. The girls did wonderful in there offering dance to the Lord on the first day of Sukkot. We opened Sukkot at Boma's and ended the Feast at Epcot's Food and Wine Festival. Praise the Lord for his Feasts!
