Bible Bee Sept 12th

Our first Bible Bee Competition. We have been studying God's word and verses since May 14, 2009. On Sept 12th we participated at First Baptist Church of Cocoa Beach. We competed with 46 contestants there. The total country wide was 17,000 entry's for the contest. We learned over 50 Bible verses and enjoyed meeting new people in the Kingdom of God. It was a good experience and look forward to next years Bee. We did well. with 175, and 163 for scores.
I was proud and blessed of how well Jillian and Dayna did. Mazel Tov!!

Schools Starts Sept 9 at Bnai Yisrael Yeshiva

Wow! Time has flown. Oct is here. First month of school completed.
The Girls love Children of Israel School and go two days a week. They started quilting class on Wed. and Bold Believers on Thursday.

August 19- Sept 5, 2009 We visit Family in Western Canada

Our trip to visit my Mom in Saskatoon, SK started August 19th. We had a great flight and arrived at the farm by 2:30p.m. The girls first adventure was to go to the rock pile. They played for hours out in the backyard surrounded by wheat fields. They found some old bikes, my skateboard and baseball and bat to play with that day. We feasted on Grandma Hunt's famous Roast Beef and new potatoes from Auntie Elaine's garden. The next day we went into town to see Auntie Moe and a trip to the hospital with Mom for her dialysis treatment. Friday came and we rested on the Sabbath with Daddy arriving at 2:30 from Orlando. We traveled to the Saskatoon Congregation after a visit to the wheat field south of the farm to pick grain on the Sabbath. The congregation was very loving, friendly and had a warm spirit. We loved the Lord's family there.
We prepared for our trip to leave for Red Deer, Alberta on Sunday to visit Lionel and Lori Stuber. We went through Edmonton not realizing the distance and our trip of 6 hours turn into 8 hours. We arrived about 7:30, but the Stubers had patiently waited for us with a wonderful Alberta Beef steak and BBQ chicken. On Monday we traveled to the Calgary Zoo for the day and then off to the Canadian Rockies for four days staying at Banff, Alberta. The Rockies were breathtaking and we hiked daily, shopped and ate great food. We spent the first day on the Banff Gondola and another day on the Lake Louise Gondola. Our travels took us back to Calgary on Friday to Heritage Park. We learned about the history of the west being settled. We then were off to the Stubers for Shabbat Friday to Sunday morning. Our trip to Saskatoon was only 6 hours going through Hannah, Alberta where we met a Catholic Priest that was preaching three masses. He had stopped for lunch at the A&W where we shared who Israel is and how he is a Hebrew too. We saw a dead Moose on the side of the road by Kindersley, SK. and arrived for dinner at the Farm. We spent the last few days with Grandma and time with Uncle Herb learning about Farming. Uncle Herb was combining dry peas and we took the crop by truck to be placed into the bin for future sale.

Camp Willimonky Musical

First United Methodist downtown Kissimmee Annual Music Camp August 3-7th. You had a choice to be in Art, Scenery or Dance. Jillian and Dayna both learned the entire musical during the week and performed it for Sunday Services August 10 at FUMC. Dayna had her first solo.
Great job Girls.

Our end of the year field trip and beginning summer vacation. Disney's New Vacation Club Resort, Kidani Village. Beautiful! Thanks to the Lord!

Shavuot 2009

What a honor to worship the Lord on His appointed times to meet with Him.

Our family was blessed with worship, dance, feasting and fellowship with our brothers and sisters. The blessings of a small class of sixteen for Kingdom Kids. How the Lord spoke through the kids class about what is faith as in Abraham and his test to give up His Son Issacc. Gen 22. How the Lord spoke throught Mark Huey about everything we had talked about before in our Kids class. He was proclaiming to them that he is real and speak through His servants the same message. Only He could have spoke the same message through two different people with the same message of Faith. He is an awesome God! Psalms 47:2

We were able to rent a RV camper van to stay in for the Feast. A blessing and a great memory.
